Join Us in Helping Haiti

Our long-time supporters know that Global Links has a history of involvement in health recovery projects in Haiti, including after the devastating 2010 and 2021 earthquakes. Haiti is in the midst of a political and severe humanitarian crisis, which is affecting the health, nutrition, education, livelihoods, and safety of millions.

Global Links has been in touch with our partners on the ground including Hôpital Albert Schweitzer regarding their greatest and urgent needs, and we are raising funds to help meet those needs. Staff there have shared that this crisis is the greatest they have experienced in their lifetime, and more support is needed now than after the major earthquakes of 2010 and 2021. Will you help us meet our goal to raise $10,000?

Examples of needed materials include Global Links Medical Backpacks, emergency and disaster response kits, Days for Girls menstrual health and hygiene kits, and more. The port has opened in recent days and we are planning to ship next month. We still need your help to reach our fundraising goal to cover the costs.

$15 = Menstrual health and hygiene kit via Days for Girls
$50 = Box of medical supplies like gauze and bandages
$200 = Global Links Medical Backpack (“doctor’s bag”) full of equipment and supplies
$1000 = Emergency & disaster response kit with a megaphone, reflective safety vests, first aid kit, and more.
