Individual Volunteer Shift
Please follow the steps below to sign up for a volunteer shift
- Scroll through the list until you see the date/time you want
- Click on “choose”
- NOTE: You can only choose one shift at a time
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “move on to next step”
- Fill in the information asked
There will be a reminder sent to your email address 3 days prior to this shift. If you cannot attend the shift, the email will have a link where you can call off that particular shift. If you can not attend, please use that link to call off so that we can plan appropriately.
Global Links welcomes people of all backgrounds and abilities to volunteer. While our Volunteer Program Associate team works hands-on with volunteers, we are unable to work one on one. If you/your child needs support, we encourage you/them to come with an aide or family member who can help. Many of our projects require the following skills/abilities:
- Focusing on a project for 2 hours
- Standing for 2 hours
- Counting to 25
- Reading small dates and sorting by them
- Like item sorting
If any of these tasks present a challenge, please email Stacy at GLvolunteer@GlobalLinks.org before scheduling a shift. We are happy to steer you toward days/times that will be best suited to your skills and needs
